Do you have the latest Windows 8.1 updates or is Windows Update active?

If you are running Windows 8.1 or Windows RT 8.1 and automatically get updates, you do not need to do anything. Windows Update will download and install the update. To ensure your device is up to date, navigate to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and see your update status and available updates.

Ensure to have the latest product version

Verify you are using the latest versions of ESET Windows home products.

Manual upgrade

If the automatic upgrade is not enabled or was not successful, you must install the latest version manually. Upgrade your ESET Windows home product to the latest version.
