Servicing updates for ESET Endpoint applications for Windows
Servicing updates are necessary for security and stability. A servicing update contains fixes and improvements and does not change functionality. ESET labels some servicing updates as critical. A critical servicing update fixes vulnerabilities and security issues found in earlier servicing updates. For more information, refer to the End of Life Policy for Business.

•If your organization manages your device, do not do the steps below. Contact your administrator. Your organization manages your device if you did not install the ESET application and you do not have an activation key. For more information, refer to Managed endpoints. •If a critical servicing update is available, install the update immediately. |
ESET Technical Support primarily supports the latest servicing update of each feature update. If you use an earlier servicing update and have an issue, Technical Support may tell you to install the latest servicing update, because the latest servicing update may already fix the issue.
Do these steps in order:

Review the changelog for the latest application version. |

If your ESET Endpoint application does not have the latest servicing update, download the installer for your application and processor type. To find the processor type, open Settings > System > About in Windows. The processor type shows in System type: •x64-based processor: use the x64 installer. •ARM-based processor: use the ARM64 installer. Install the application. For instructions, refer to Install or upgrade ESET Endpoint Security or ESET Endpoint Antivirus on a client device. |

After installation, restart your device. |
