If you have version 6.x, except 6.5
You will face two upgrade stages:
1. Soft upgrade
You will receive a message and an option to upgrade with a direct link to the installer. The message will look like this:
The version number to upgrade depends on the SHA-256 compatibility of your operating system.
Soft upgrade date: from July 29 to August 29, 2021
2. Hard upgrade
If you did not click Accept & Upgrade during the Soft upgrade stage, your ESET endpoint product will be automatically upgraded to a supported product version.
If you disagree with the End User License Agreement after the upgrade, the only option is to uninstall the product. You cannot revert to the previous version.
Hard upgrade date: from August 30 to September 15, 2021
Version 6.5.2132.6 reached End of Life in February 2022. This version has a different termination process.
